presented by student BELAISSA Syrine, under the supervision of professors Rahmoun Abdelatif and Bensenane Hamdan, and registered under Ministerial Decree 1275, has been awarded the \u201cInnovative Project\u201d label.<\/p>\n
Project Summary:<\/p>\n
This system is an integrated smart platform designed to help visually impaired individuals regain their independence by transforming the surrounding visual environment into real-time audio perception. Acting as a \u201cspeaking eye\u201d powered by artificial intelligence, the system can recognize objects, accurately detect and avoid obstacles and read texts and signs fluently in both Arabic and French.<\/p>\n
Beyond personal assistance, the system also serves as a digital safety network by connecting users with their families through a companion application that enables real-time activity and location tracking. This allows rapid intervention when necessary while maintaining a balance between the user\u2019s freedom of movement and the family\u2019s peace of mind.<\/p>\n
