Representing the Higher School of Computer Science in Sidi Bel Abb\u00e8s (ESI-SBA), a team of students, accompanied by supervisors from the AI & Quantum Community, participated in the global quantum computing competition iQuHack 2026, hosted at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States from January 30 to February 1, 2026.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The students were selected from among thousands of applicants worldwide and worked continuously for 24 hours on a project ranked among the top 10 teams globally, focusing on quantum entanglement error correction for next-generation quantum internet and communication systems proposed by IonQ, which develops quantum computers using trapped-ion technology.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
