Awareness Day on the Dangers of Addiction and HIV<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As part of efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of addiction and ways to prevent blood-borne diseases, Pathos Club, in collaboration with the School\u2019s Medical Unit, organized an awareness day for students on February 17, 2026.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The event focused on the serious health risks associated with drug use, especially in relation to the transmission of the HIV virus.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Key points discussed included:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The severe impact of sharing needles and syringes in spreading the HIV virus, and how to avoid these deadly practices.<\/div>\n
How to prevent addiction and blood-borne diseases by making informed and responsible decisions.<\/div>\n
The importance of awareness in reducing the risk of HIV and how students can take preventive steps to protect themselves.<\/div>\n
Opening a dialogue with students on drug prevention and the importance of offering psychological and social support to aid in addiction recovery.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The event was marked by active student engagement, with discussions and contributions that helped raise awareness of the health risks related to drug use.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
