As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and within the school’s ongoing efforts to support its entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Higher School of Computer Science of Sidi Bel Abbès (ESI-SBA) organized, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, a series of lectures on entrepreneurship culture and the mechanisms of establishing economic enterprises (businesses). The sessions were delivered by representatives of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA) for the benefit of the school’s students.
The event began with a speech delivered by the school’s director, Professor Sidi Mohammed Benslimane, who emphasized the school’s commitment to strengthening entrepreneurial culture and encouraging the creation of economic enterprises, given the added value this path offers both to students and to the national economy, particularly in the field of computer science.
A representative of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development also delivered a lecture outlining the practical steps involved in establishing economic enterprises, in addition to explaining the role of university entrepreneurship offices and NESDA in supporting idea holders and helping them transform their projects into viable initiatives.
This initiative is part of a series of activities and programs aimed at reinforcing the school’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and enabling students to develop their innovative projects across various technical specializations.
