The Higher School of Computer Science of Sidi Bel Abbès (ESI-SBA) hosted the first day of Entrepreneurship Week yesterday, as part of ongoing efforts to promote a spirit of initiative and strengthen an entrepreneurial mindset among students.
The event featured opening remarks by the Director of our school, Professor Sidi Mohammed Benslimane, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in supporting students, encouraging innovation, and developing value-added projects.
Mr. Mahla Houari, Director of the National Agency for Entrepreneurship Support and Development (NESDA الوكالة الوطنية لدعم و تنمية المقاولاتية), also delivered a speech emphasizing the agency’s role in guiding young people and helping them transform their entrepreneurial ideas into successful economic ventures. He further stressed the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and support organizations.
The event also included a certificate-awarding ceremony for students who completed the training program dedicated to future entrepreneurs, in recognition of their effort and commitment throughout the training period.
This activity is part of a series of programs aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the school and supporting students in bringing their projects to life across various technical and digital fields.
