:ملخص المشروع

يعد هذا النظام منصة ذكية متكاملة تهدف إلى تمكين الأفراد المكفوفين من استعادة استقلاليتهم عبر تحويل المحيط المرئي إلى إدراك صوتي لحظي، حيث يعمل كعين ناطقة تعتمد على الذكاء الاصطناعي للتعرف على الأشياء، تجنب الحواجز بدقة، وقراءة النصوص واللافتات بطلاقة باللغتين العربية والفرنسية. ولا يقتصر دور النظام على المساعدة الذاتية فحسب، بل يمتد ليشكل شبكة أمان رقمية تربط المستخدم بذويه عبر تطبيق مرافق يتيح للأهل تتبع النشاطات وتحديد الموقع الجغرافي في الوقت الفعلي، مما يضمن تدخلاً سريعاً عند الضرورة ويحقق توازناً مثالياً بين حرية الحركة للفرد وطمأنينة الرعاية للعائلة.

The Business Incubator of the Higher School of Computer Science of Sidi Bel Abbès (ESI-SBA) is pleased to announce that the project entitled:

“AI-Powered Navigation and Assistance System for the Visually Impaired”

presented by student BELAISSA Syrine, under the supervision of professors Rahmoun Abdelatif and Bensenane Hamdan, and registered under Ministerial Decree 1275, has been awarded the “Innovative Project” label.

Project Summary:

This system is an integrated smart platform designed to help visually impaired individuals regain their independence by transforming the surrounding visual environment into real-time audio perception. Acting as a “speaking eye” powered by artificial intelligence, the system can recognize objects, accurately detect and avoid obstacles and read texts and signs fluently in both Arabic and French.

Beyond personal assistance, the system also serves as a digital safety network by connecting users with their families through a companion application that enables real-time activity and location tracking. This allows rapid intervention when necessary while maintaining a balance between the user’s freedom of movement and the family’s peace of mind.
