As part of the Sidi Bel Abbès Higher School of Computer Science’s commitment to strengthening its ties with the economic and social environment, and to deepening its strategic partnerships with key players in the technology sector, a cooperation framework agreement was signed this morning, Thursday, July 3, 2025, with CyBears, a company specializing in cybersecurity. This agreement aims to strengthen collaboration in the fields of research, training, innovation, and entrepreneurship through practical mechanisms, including hosting students for internships, organizing scientific and practical events, and developing training curricula aligned with labor market demands in the field of cybersecurity. Moreover, this partnership seeks to empower students and researchers to actively contribute to addressing national digital challenges, while reinforcing the school’s role as a key driver of development and knowledge transfer in this strategic domain. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the graduation project defense by student Bahaaeddine Bouzbouja, entitled: « A Secure E-Learning Platform Supported by Automated Virtual Labs in the Field of Cybersecurity. » The project involved building a comprehensive e-learning system that combines a flexible, fully integrated educational interface with dynamic 4 virtual laboratories that are automatically generated through a cloud-based architecture. It focused on delivering a hands-on, secure learning experience tailored to cybersecurity training and was the result of a practical internship at CyBears. This new collaboration marks a strategic step forward in bridging the gap between academic training and market needs, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
